Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Our client is looking for a Production Assistant who is methodical, patient, and has an eye for detail. You will be responsible for preparing (masking) products ready for coating in a clean and hygienic environment. This role involves operating precision measuring instruments and recording results, as well as disassembling, cleaning, and refurbishing products to a high standard. TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED
Key Responsibilities:
- Coating products to a high standard
- Operating precision measuring instruments
- Inspecting, disassembling, cleaning, and refurbishing products
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment
- Communicating data, instructions, and results both verbally and in writing
- Meeting hygiene standards
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
- High degree of manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination in order to perform essential tasks.
- Willingness to work in a seated position for extended periods of time
- Ability to distinguish particular colours
- Good standard of maths
- Ability to focus on a project from start to finish
- Good communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Ideally a car driver due to location
