The successful candidate will need to travel within a certain territory, business mileage in line with AA guidelines is paid (varies depending on vehicle).  The job holder will need to hold a clean driving licence. Mobile phone and IT equipment will be supplied as necessary. The Job holder must be willing to occasionally travel to head office in Woking, Surrey.  This may involve an overnight stay.

Job Summary

Our client based in Scotland are seeking a Part Time Data Collection Executive to work remotely.  You will be responsible for collecting accurate and timely sales data from independent retailers.  Sales information is obtained from retails via a monthly store visit and manual audit of their remaining stock and purchase/sales invoices.  In addition to collecting information from the independent retailers the successful candidate will also have the responsibility for the servicing of the manually audited clients, providing valuable market insight by interpreting reports and providing clear recommendations.

Job Description

  • Collecting sales data from independent retailers via a stocktake methodology and using in-house software on a tablet Personal Computer. 
  • Take delivery ownership of electronically transmitted sales data from independent retailers which do not require a store visit.  This will require chasing retailers for information which has not been received.
  • Servicing manually audited retailers by presenting market trends and reports.  It will be expected that the company image is promoted at all times and prompt and clear answers are given to client queries
  • Maintaining accurate retailer information on the retailer database
  • Complete paperwork accurately and timely as required
