Job Summary
Our client is a UK leader in their field and is based in Woking. They currently have a great opportunity for you to become a Commercial Coordinator within their Commercial Department.
Job Description
- Assist surveyors with variation orders
- Produce valuation reports and batch valuations on a weekly basis
- Undertake mid-month and monthly payments
- Setting up Purchase Orders
- Release retentions appropriately and keep accurate records
- Sub contract invoice queries
- Ensure appropriate employees are being posted to correct sites and liaise with the development teams.
- Assist with the management of contractor relations, including updating schedule of works on a regular basis and ensure drawing updates are communicated to all relevant contractors.
- Support the Commercial Management team and monitor and report on supplier performance
- Assisting with tenders and putting together initial tender comparison
- Ensuring all key documentation is distributed to appropriate departments
- Actively engage and collaboratively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Update the schedule of works on a regular basis
- Manage the monthly procurement tracker and put together subcontract agreements for all orders.
- Coordinate timely completion and printing of cost budget reconciliations and present to the Commercial Manager
- Ad hoc finance work reporting to the Financial Director
- General Administrative duties
Required Skills
- GCSE standard or equivalent
- Competence in Microsoft Office Packages
- Ability to work under pressure as timescales require
- Self-motivated and ability to work under own initiative
- Organised/flexible/reliable and methodical
- An interest in property would be beneficial
- Accounts payable AAT experience ideal
- Finance knowledge required
