Job Description
Our client is a leading recruitment agency that specialises in the Medical, Engineering, Construction, Business Solutions, and IT Solutions markets and are looking for a Business Development Executive to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work within a specified market sector and become a specialist in that market.
• Make proactive outbound sales calls (canvassing) in order to establish current needs or potential needs
• Manage hot and qualified leads from colleagues and targeted new business opportunities from your manager.
• Gain a full understanding of vacancies that clients wish to fill by taking down a detailed job specification
• Clearly explain what happens after a vacancy is placed and how this may differ from competitors.
• Agree Terms of Business with the client if they are not already in place, including the fee percentage of basic salary
Key Requirements:
• Previous sales experience is essential
• Experience in recruitment would be an advantage but not essential
• Proven track record in meeting sales targets
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to build long-lasting business relationships
Training:
Our client is committed to providing a comprehensive training programme which includes a 3-month induction. This will include classroom-based training covering:
• The Features & Benefits of our service
• The objectives of a canvass call
• How to take down a Vacancy (job specification) in detail
• What happens after a Vacancy is placed with us, and how this may differ from our competitors
• Key points of our Terms of Business
• Understand the process of handling objections
• Our bespoke software system
