Job Summary

Office Administrator required by our client based in Guildford to join their small friendly team. Covering a maternity contract from 9 - 12 months.

Job Description

The role of Office Administrator will involve:

  • Performing general office functions, including the following: making travel arrangements, answering phones, making deposits, handling petty cash, and assuring time sheets are submitted.
  • Assisting staff in formatting documents, scanning, copying, faxing, preparing presentations, etc.
  • May serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues relating to the operating unit served.
  • Preparing various routine and specialized reports, control records and statistics.
  • Ordering supplies for the office, shop and shipping. Performing price checks, scheduling, prepares packing lists, packaging, customer correspondence; arranging for pick-ups from vendors.
  • Distributing daily mail and internal correspondence. Maintaining files, assembling information as directed. Processes, scans, and routes incoming invoices.
  • Handling incoming customer requests accurately and courteously. Based on the request, assisting the customer directly or routes the request to the appropriate person.
  • Coordinating movement, storage and distribution of equipment and inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, providing coverage in other administrative support areas.
