Job Summary

Our client, a building and engineering contractor are looking for a Health and Safety Consultant to join their established team.

Job Description

As the Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Managing your own territory
  • Monitoring and assisting with safety training courses
  • Preparing legislation updates
  • Writing reports
  • Investigate/report findings of accidents and incidents
  • Inspecting and auditing

Required Skills

As a Health and Safety Manager you will have the following skills:

  • Nebosh construction Certification as a minimum
  • Excellent commutation, numeracy and literacy skills
  • Clean driving licence
  • Effective planning and organisational skills
  • Solid understanding of construction processes
  • Experience in client facing operational Health and Safety duties within a multisite position
  • Awareness and familiarisation with relevant management standards ISO 9001, BS OSHAS 18001 and ISO 14001
  • Clean driving license
