Our client is offering a salary of up to £25,000 with benefits including pension and 25 days holiday however  3/4 of the holiday need to be taken over the Christmas shutdown and no holiday is to be taken leading up a an event.

An exciting opportunity to promote and increase fundraising and community awareness as part of a team based in Woking working as a Fundraising Co-ordinator.

Job Description

As a Fundraising Coordinator you will be responsible for:

  • Working as part of the Fundraising Team
  • Actively encouraging and motivating people to achieve fundraising targets by telephone and email
  • Assisting walkers with their online fundraising pages
  • Attending Volunteer group meetings as required
  • Liaising with Unique Challenges about the fundraising of the participants
  • Completing department administration tasks as required

Required Skills

As a Fundraising Coordinator you will require the following skills:

  • Good understanding of the principles of good customer care and the accountabilities of a charity to its donors and supporters
  • Excellent communication skills on all levels, written, telephone and personal communication
  • People management skills
  • Effective time management skills and an ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
